| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Lisa Elliott has greatly distinguished herself as an |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, In 2015, Ms. Elliott received both the Faculty |

| 9 | 10 | | Achievement Award and the National Institute for Staff and |

| 10 | 11 | | Organizational Development Excellence Award; she strives to |

| 11 | 12 | | connect her students with professional opportunities, and she |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | focuses her research on the impact of the digital age on cultural |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | views of public and private space; in addition, she serves EPCC as |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | the special projects assistant to the associate vice president of |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | external relations, communications, and development, and she is |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | co-chair of EPCC's 50th Anniversary Committee; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Elliott completed her master's degree in |

| 18 | 19 | | popular culture at Bowling Green State University in 2005; before |

| 19 | 20 | | joining the faculty at EPCC, she enjoyed a career in the |

| 20 | 21 | | entertainment industry as a producer, and she has been affiliated |

| 21 | 22 | | with an Emmy-winning project and such companies as Carsey-Werner |

| 22 | 23 | | Television and Universal Pictures; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Generously sharing her time and expertise, |

| 24 | 25 | | Ms. Elliott is a member of the advisory committees for the El Paso |

| 25 | 26 | | Film Festival and the Plaza Classic Film Festival; she also serves |

| 26 | 27 | | as president of the board of the El Paso Center for Children and as |

| 27 | 28 | | secretary of the board of the West Coronado Community Recreation |

| 29 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Through her professional accomplishments and |

| 30 | 31 | | dedication to EPCC, Lisa Elliott has earned the respect and |
