| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 65th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and James A. and Bennie |

| 7 | 8 | | L. Frye Henry of Sulphur Springs celebrated this joyous milestone |

| 8 | 9 | | in their marriage on April 9, 2019; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Jimmy Henry and the former Bennie Frye met while |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | attending Jacksonville Baptist College, and they were joined in |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | matrimony in 1954 at the campus's Chapel of the Old Main building; |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | over the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | includes their children, Debra Anne Shelton, Sherry Sue Hatcher, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | John Mark Henry, and the late James Michael Henry, as well as 6 |

| 15 | 16 | | grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a |

| 16 | 17 | | great-great-grandchild; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Over the past 67 years, Mr. Henry has led 12 |

| 18 | 19 | | churches as pastor, including Caney Baptist Church of Pickton for |

| 19 | 20 | | the past two decades; he also served as executive director of the |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Ministers Benefit Department in Texarkana, Arkansas, and as a |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | chaplain for Marketplace Chaplains USA, and he has written 25 |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | published books and numerous articles for various religious |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | publications; Mrs. Henry served as a church secretary for many |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | years, and she has been an administrative assistant at the |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | Ministers Benefit Department; respected members of their |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | community, the couple retired to Sulphur Springs in 1998; and |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Henry have enjoyed six and a half |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | decades of abiding love and affection for each other, and they are |
|---|
| 29 | 30 | | among an exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a |
|---|
| 30 | 31 | | lasting commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 31 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |

| 32 | 33 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Jimmy and Bennie Henry on their |
