| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Young people are among our most important resources |

| 9 | 10 | | and will contribute greatly to the state's prosperity in the years |

| 10 | 11 | | ahead; gatherings such as today's Young Texans Day enable emerging |

| 11 | 12 | | leaders to network, to learn from one another, and to develop vital |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, With the 86th Legislative Session well under way, |

| 14 | 15 | | the Capitol is a source of bustling political activity, offering |

| 15 | 16 | | visitors an excellent opportunity to see their state government in |

| 16 | 17 | | action; the civic-minded young Texans attending this event have |

| 17 | 18 | | demonstrated commendable initiative and enthusiasm, traits that |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby recognize May 1, 2019, as Young Texans Day at the |
