| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Firefighter II Engineer John Honeycutt has been |

| 6 | 7 | | named Inspector of the Year for 2018 by the Corpus Christi Fire |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A 20-year veteran of the department, Mr. Honeycutt |

| 9 | 10 | | has been certified as a fire inspector by the Texas Commission on |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | Fire Protection, and he has been a member of the Corpus Christi Fire |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Prevention Division since 2011; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Honeycutt is an expert in all aspects of the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | fire code, inspection techniques, and testing procedures, and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | throughout 2018, he helped ensure that area businesses and hotels |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | that had been affected by Hurricane Harvey were safe for workers and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | visitors; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, John Honeycutt has demonstrated uncommon skill and |

| 18 | 19 | | dedication in his efforts to protect the lives and property of his |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | fellow citizens, and he is truly deserving of this special honor; |

| 20 | 21 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
