| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Abby Caldwell of Humble has ably served her fellow |

| 7 | 8 | | Dan Huberty during the summer of 2017, the summer and fall of 2018, |

| 8 | 9 | | and the 86th Legislative Session; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Caldwell has provided |

| 10 | 11 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |

| 11 | 12 | | including corresponding with constituents, creating certificates, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | and assisting with local casework; in addition to gaining valuable |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | experience in the field of public service, she has learned more |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Caldwell is the daughter of James and Kristen |

| 17 | 18 | | Caldwell, and she is a senior at Atascocita High School, where she |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | has distinguished herself by earning all A's all four years; ranked |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | sixth in a class of 829 students, she has received several academic |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | excellence awards, and she is a member of the National Honor |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | Society; in addition, she is a volunteer in the student ministry of |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | West Lake Church; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 24 | 25 | | duties as an intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
