| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Erin Ray of the Girl Scouts of Central Texas Troop |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, To earn this distinction, Ms. Ray successfully met a |

| 9 | 10 | | series of requirements emphasizing community service, personal and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | spiritual growth, positive values, and leadership skills; as part |

| 11 | 12 | | of that process, she planned and implemented a Girl Scout Gold Award |

| 12 | 13 | | project that will have a positive and lasting impact in her |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | community; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, By fostering self-confidence and by encouraging |

| 15 | 16 | | young women to explore career opportunities and to become more |

| 16 | 17 | | socially conscious, the Girl Scout program is helping its |

| 17 | 18 | | participants to achieve their greatest potential as engaged |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The maturity and dedication that Ms. Ray has |
