| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |

| 6 | 7 | | of Dorothy Fetters Haverlah of Pleasanton, who passed away on March |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Edmund and Florence Fetters, the |

| 9 | 10 | | former Dorothy Fetters was born on July 1, 1927, in Leming; she wed |

| 10 | 11 | | Clydell Edward Haverlah in 1946, and they shared a rewarding |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | marriage that spanned 53 years, before his death; Mrs. Haverlah |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | took great pride in their children, Edward and Cynthia, as well as |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | in their grandchildren, Page, Whitney, Megan, Brian, and Brooke, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | and great-grandchildren, Jonah, Ruth, Nolan, Amelia, Fletcher, and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Daniel; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In addition to working in the real estate business, |

| 17 | 18 | | Mrs. Haverlah set an inspiring example of civic and political |

| 18 | 19 | | engagement; she served as a member of the Pleasanton City Council |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | and as president of the Woman's Club of Pleasanton, and she was a |

| 20 | 21 | | valued congregant of First United Methodist Church of Pleasanton; |

| 21 | 22 | | in her leisure time, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling |

| 22 | 23 | | the United States and Canada with her husband; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, With her generosity, graciousness, and delightful |

| 24 | 25 | | sense of humor, Dorothy Haverlah won the admiration and affection |

| 25 | 26 | | of all who knew her, and she is deeply missed; now, therefore, be it |

| 26 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |

| 27 | 28 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Dorothy Fetters |

| 28 | 29 | | Haverlah and extend heartfelt sympathy to her family and many |
