| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Benito Alvarado was born on August 24, 1960, to |

| 9 | 10 | | Hilario Alvarado Sr. and Benita Garcia Alvarado, and he grew up with |

| 10 | 11 | | the companionship of three siblings, Francisco, Hilario, and Maria; |

| 11 | 12 | | he shared a rewarding marriage with his wife, Geraldine, that |

| 12 | 13 | | spanned 24 years, and he took great pride in his two children, Aaron |

| 13 | 14 | | and Alyssa; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his 36-year career as an |

| 15 | 16 | | educator, Mr. Alvarado enriched the lives of countless area |

| 16 | 17 | | students; he was a beloved faculty member of the San Isidro |

| 17 | 18 | | Independent School District for nearly two decades, teaching math |

| 18 | 19 | | and coaching football, basketball, and baseball; above all else, he |

| 19 | 20 | | delighted in the time he spent with his family, and he enjoyed |

| 20 | 21 | | following his favorite team, the Houston Astros; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain caused by a life cut |

| 22 | 23 | | short, but all who shared in the love and friendship of Benito |

| 23 | 24 | | Alvarado may find comfort in their treasured memories of this kind |
