 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Adeleine Bates, a junior at Cedar Park High School,
 enjoyed an outstanding 2018-2019 season in the Texas High School
 Bowling Club, where she earned runner-up in the girls' singles
 state tournament and was named the Chisholm Trail District Female
 Bowler of the Year; and
 WHEREAS, Addy Bates made her third consecutive appearance at
 the top level of competition on March 30 following outstanding
 performances in district and regional contests; after claiming
 decisive victories in rounds of tournament play, she progressed to
 the semifinal match and bested the competition by a score of
 213-209; while ultimately falling in the final championship match,
 she rounded off an incredible season as the girls' state singles
 runner-up; and
 WHEREAS, In addition to her success in the state tournament,
 Ms. Bates was named the Chisholm Trail District Female Bowler of
 the Year for the 2018-2019 season, in recognition of her
 commendable leadership, sportsmanship, and record of achievement
 in the THSBC; and
 WHEREAS, Through hard work and an unwavering resolve to give
 her very best, Addy Bates has earned the admiration of her fellow
 students and her many community supporters, and she may indeed
 reflect with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Adeleine Bates on a successful
 2018-2019 season in the Texas High School Bowling Club and extend to
 her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Bates as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
