45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Mohammad Haque has been named salutatorian of the
67 Class of 2019 at London High School in Corpus Christi, and he indeed
78 merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor;

910 WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
1011 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1112 highest academic standards; Mr. Haque has demonstrated a thorough
1213 understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of
1314 this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
1415 high school career; and
1516 WHEREAS, Mr. Haque plans to continue his education at the
1617 University of Houston and major in biomedical engineering; and
1718 WHEREAS, During his years at London High, Mohammad Haque has
1819 earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and
1920 classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment
2021 to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future
2122 for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
2324 Legislature hereby congratulate Mohammad Haque on being named
2425 salutatorian of the Class of 2019 at London High School and extend
2526 to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the
2627 next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Mr. Haque as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2930 House of Representatives.
