| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Regan Susannah Moger on |

| 6 | 7 | | September 17, 2018, at the age of 16, was a heartbreaking loss to |

| 7 | 8 | | her family and many friends; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Houston on March 22, 2002, Regan was the |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | daughter of Charles Steven Moger and Tracey McEachern Moger, and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | she was raised by her father and her stepmother, Sandra Mullins |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Moger, after her mother's passing; she enjoyed the companionship of |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | her siblings, John, Katherine, and Stella, and stepbrothers, Kyle |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | and Grant; blessed with a generous heart and a reserve of energy, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | she was carried through life by her spirit of adventure, and her |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | presence ensured that her family members' days were filled with |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | love and laughter; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Regan grew up in Houston and spent two years at |

| 18 | 19 | | Westside High School; in August 2018, she began attending Maur |

| 19 | 20 | | Hill-Mount Academy in Atchison, Kansas; although she had only been |

| 20 | 21 | | there a month, she found herself welcomed into her new community and |

| 21 | 22 | | quickly endeared herself to new friends, just as she had at her |

| 22 | 23 | | previous schools; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Regan Susannah Moger made the world an infinitely |

| 24 | 25 | | brighter place for everyone around her, and although her loss has |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | brought them immeasurable sorrow, they will forever keep her memory |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | alive in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |

| 28 | 29 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Regan Susannah Moger |
