45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The deliberations of the Texas House of
67 Representatives during the 86th Legislative Session have been
78 greatly aided by the outstanding work of the House Research
89 Organization; and
910 WHEREAS, Members of the house rely on the impartial
1011 information that the HRO provides in its "Daily Floor Report" as
1112 well as in other publications the organization publishes on
1213 significant policy issues; and
1314 WHEREAS, Operating under the leadership of director Laura
1415 Hendrickson, the HRO staff includes Rita Barr, David Drew, Kellie
1516 Dworaczyk, Janet Elliott, T. L. Fahring, Casey Floren, Benjamin
1617 Griffith, Alison Hern, Robert Inks, Kaulie Lewis, Katie Lundstrom,
1718 Mike Marchio, Andrew McNair, MacKenzie Nunez, Mike O'Connor, Carl
1819 Perry, Karen TreviƱo, Daniel Van Oudenaren, Jesse Whitfield, and
1920 Matt Zdun; and
2021 WHEREAS, Facing the daunting workload of a legislative
2122 session, these resourceful professionals consistently produce
2223 invaluable analyses in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner, and
2324 in so doing, they have earned, once again, our sincere gratitude and
2425 admiration; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commend the staff of the House Research
2728 Organization for their exceptional service in behalf of the
2829 legislature and the State of Texas; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for the House Research Organization as an expression of
3132 high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
