6	6		WHEREAS, The Young Business Professionals of the Coastal Bend
7	7		is recognizing the 2019 Corpus Christi Under 40 honorees at an
8	8		awards ceremony at the Art Museum of South Texas on May 17; and
9	9		WHEREAS, Each year, the CCU40 event honors men and women
10	10		under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to the
11	11		Corpus Christi area through both their professional and civic
12	12		endeavors; and
13	13		WHEREAS, Founded in 2009, YBP of the Coastal Bend is a
14	14		nonprofit organization committed to serving the community through
15	15		leadership, education, volunteerism, and the recruitment and
16	16		retention of young professionals in the region; the group supports
17	17		the Coastal Bend area by promoting social responsibility in a
18	18		global market and by providing its members with opportunities for
19	19		community service, networking, and mentorship between young and
20	20		established professionals; and
21	21		WHEREAS, YBP of the Coastal Bend is dedicated to developing
22	22		the next generation of business leaders, and the Corpus Christi
23	23		Under 40 event offers the organization an ideal opportunity to
24	24		honor some of the community's most influential young professionals;
25	25		now, therefore, be it
26	26		RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
27	27		Legislature hereby commemorate the 2019 Corpus Christi Under 40
28	28		awards ceremony hosted by the Young Business Professionals of the
29	29		Coastal Bend and extend to all those in attendance sincere best
30	30		wishes for a meaningful and memorable event; and, be it further
31	31		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
32	32		prepared for the Young Business Professionals of the Coastal Bend
33	33		as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
34	34		Representatives.
