| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Britnee Chuor of Houston has ably served her fellow |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Chuor has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |

| 10 | 11 | | such as helping with education and criminal justice bills, |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | reporting on committee activity, and addressing stakeholder |

| 12 | 13 | | concerns about proposed legislation; over the course of the 86th |

| 13 | 14 | | Legislative Session and during her internship in Representative |

| 14 | 15 | | Wu's district office in 2018, she has gained valuable experience in |

| 15 | 16 | | the field of public service while learning more about the |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Chuor is a certified nonprofit professional who |

| 19 | 20 | | holds a bachelor's degree in political science and liberal studies |

| 20 | 21 | | from the University of Houston; the recipient of numerous honors |

| 21 | 22 | | and scholarships, she was accepted into the Fulbright English |

| 22 | 23 | | Teaching Assistant Program in 2019; in addition, she has interned |

| 23 | 24 | | with BakerRipley and the City of Houston Mayor's Office of Trade and |

| 24 | 25 | | International Affairs; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 26 | 27 | | duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 27 | 28 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
