45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Maryellen Rayner celebrated a significant milestone
67 in her life on May 11, 2019, when she graduated from the Gaylord
78 College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of
89 Oklahoma; and
910 WHEREAS, Ms. Rayner has demonstrated impressive dedication
1011 to her studies while working toward her bachelor's degree in
1112 advertising with a minor in psychology; her academic achievements
1213 have earned her membership in the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor
1314 Fraternity, which she has served as scholarship chair; in addition,
1415 she is a proud member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority; and
1516 WHEREAS, Among the many other activities she has undertaken
1617 as a student, Ms. Rayner has served as vice chair of a concert
1718 series, as account manager and director of the Lindsey + Asp
1819 student-run advertising agency, and as an event planner and
1920 promoter for the Campus Corner; and
2021 WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
2122 outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing
2223 her as she embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore,
2324 be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Maryellen Rayner on her graduation
2627 from the University of Oklahoma and extend to her sincere best
2728 wishes for continued success; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Ms. Rayner as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3031 House of Representatives.
