45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Haley Entrop has ably served her fellow Texans as an
67 aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner during the
78 86th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Entrop has provided
910 vital assistance in handling such challenges as leading the
1011 communications team, meeting with constituents and lobbyists, and
1112 producing amendments and talking points for bills and resolutions;
1213 building on her work as an intern in Representative Turner's office
1314 during the 85th Legislature, she has gained valuable experience in
1415 the field of public service and learned more about the legislative
1516 process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1617 WHEREAS, Ms. Entrop is currently pursuing a bachelor's
1718 degree in political science and writing at Concordia University
1819 Texas, where she has contributed to her campus community as
1920 president of the school's Student Government & Leadership
2021 Association; she has also served as a Texas Civic Ambassador with
2122 the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life's New Politics Forum,
2223 as a program and event coordinator for BRAVE Communities, and as a
2324 cultural ambassador for Legacy International; and
2425 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
2526 duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is
2627 indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2728 therefore, be it
2829 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
2930 Legislature hereby commend Haley Entrop for her service as a
3031 legislative aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner
3132 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
3233 her endeavors; and, be it further
3334 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3435 prepared for Ms. Entrop as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3536 House of Representatives.
