R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Starr County Memorial Hospital has distinguished
itself by earning designation as a Level IV trauma facility from the
Texas Department of State Health Services; and
WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition is awarded to health
care centers that go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital
licensure requirements; valid for three years, the designation
reflects an institution's outstanding dedication to improving,
expediting, and standardizing the care of trauma patients; and
WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 1975, Starr County
Memorial Hospital has played a vital role in ensuring the health and
well-being of area residents, and its Level IV trauma designation
is a testament to the exceptional skill and commitment of its
physicians, administrators, and staff; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Starr County Memorial Hospital on
its designation as a Level IV trauma facility by the Texas
Department of State Health Services and extend to all those
associated with the hospital sincere best wishes for continued
success with their important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Starr County Memorial Hospital as an expression of
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
