|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors at |

| 10 | 11 | | Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 11, the Lady Eagles clinched |

| 11 | 12 | | their eighth state crown and fourth consecutive 6A title; setting |

| 12 | 13 | | the pace were the members of the 4x100-meter relay team, Ja'Era |

| 13 | 14 | | Griffin, Jayla Hollis, Taylor Armstrong, and Rosaline Effiong, |

| 14 | 15 | | whose victorious time of 44.24 seconds eclipsed the national mark |

| 15 | 16 | | they had set at the regional meet two weeks earlier; in addition, |

| 16 | 17 | | Cierra Wash, Ms. Effiong, Zariah Jones, and Bryannia Murphy won the |

| 23 | 24 | | the 100-meter hurdles, and Ms. Armstrong won the 300-meter hurdles; |

| 25 | 26 | | 200-meter dash, and Brianna Washington placed second in discus; and |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, When the final scores were tallied, the Lady Eagles |
