| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and T. F. and Carol Lumsden |

| 7 | 8 | | of Sulphur Springs celebrated this joyous milestone in their |

| 8 | 9 | | marriage on December 27, 2018; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, "Lum" and Carol Lumsden were joined in matrimony in |

| 10 | 11 | | 1958 at First Baptist Church in Alvord; over the years, they have |

| 11 | 12 | | been blessed with a treasured family that includes their children, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Kim, Cathy, and Kevin, as well as their 12 grandchildren and 22 |

| 13 | 14 | | great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Valued residents of the Sulphur Springs community |

| 15 | 16 | | for the past 54 years, the couple are devoted members of First |

| 16 | 17 | | Baptist Church, where Mrs. Lumsden worked in the children's |

| 17 | 18 | | ministry for many years and Mr. Lumsden has served on numerous |

| 18 | 19 | | committees, including the deacon board; they have also engaged in |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | several business ventures while also operating their farm; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lumsden have enjoyed six decades of |

| 21 | 22 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 23 | 24 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
