5	6		WHEREAS, The Office of the House Sergeant-at-Arms has played
6	7		an essential role in the activities of the Texas House of
7	8		Representatives during the Regular Session of the 86th Legislature;
8	9		and
9	10		WHEREAS, House sergeant-at-arms David Sauceda is responsible
10	11		for maintaining order in the house chamber and meeting rooms,
11	12		securing the attendance of members, and assisting all house
12	13		officers in carrying out their administrative duties; assistant
13	14		sergeant-at-arms Robert Barrios oversees the daily activities of
14	15		the sergeant messengers, who contribute to the efficiency of the
15	16		legislative process in innumerable ways; and
16	17		WHEREAS, The tasks of the sergeant's office could not be
17	18		performed without the support of office supervisors, who include
18	19		Christopher Currens, Jacob Del Bosque, Sarah Flautt, Justine
19	20		Medina, Kyle Paylor, and Andrew Phinney; and
20	21		WHEREAS, Safeguarding the vehicles of legislators and
21	22		guaranteeing the availability of their parking spaces are other
22	23		functions of the office, and Jerry Amaya, Joseph Collins, Walter
23	24		Kyles, Billy Moore, Richard Robinson, Rudell Roe, Joe Saucedo, and
24	25		Howard Seymour are the house parking attendants; and
25	26		WHEREAS, The staff also includes sergeant messengers Mason
26	27		Barber, Bradley Bizzell, Kyle Burke, Alexis Cox, Alec Degilio,
27	28		Yaroslav Duncan, Aime Espinoza Contreras, Danielle Garcia,
28		-	Alejandra Herndon, Lauren Hewell, Dylan Humphrey, Jared Johnson,
29		-	Benjamin Marquez, Chase McComb, Bobby Minjarez, Christina
30		-	Moten-Johnson, Hannah Padilla, Devan Petersen, Maria Rocha,
31		-	Cheylin Rush, Luke Servantes, Daniel Sexton, Kathryn Sheppard, Nick
32		-	Stanley, Joseph Valenzuela, Thy Tran, Fred Werkenthin, and Matthew

34	33		WHEREAS, These dedicated employees help to ensure the success
35	34		of the day-to-day operations of the Texas House of Representatives,
36	35		and the members of this chamber are pleased to express their

39	37		RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
40	38		Legislature hereby commend David Sauceda and the staff of the
41	39		Office of the House Sergeant-at-Arms for their exceptional work
42	40		this session and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future;
43	41		and, be it further
44	42		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
45	43		prepared for the office as an expression of high regard by the Texas
46	44		House of Representatives.
