| 10 | 11 | | Mr. Ray advanced to the NHSRA Finals, where he matched up against |

| 12 | 13 | | go-round with a two-point lead, he tied with two other riders for |

| 13 | 14 | | the top spot in the second go, and he closed out the contest by |

| 14 | 15 | | earning 150 points in the final to become world champion; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The son of Wade and Teressa Ray, Carson Ray is a |

| 16 | 17 | | junior at Groveton High and a member of Groveton FFA; though he has |

| 17 | 18 | | been participating in cutting events for less than two years, he has |

| 18 | 19 | | drawn on the expert horseback-riding skills he has developed while |

|---|
