| 11 | 12 | | CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day recognizes the important |

| 12 | 13 | | commitment that career and technical education students are making |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | by undertaking these studies; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Around 12.5 million American high school and college |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | students are enrolled in CTE courses, which encompass a variety of |

| 16 | 17 | | occupational fields, including agriculture, construction, |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | manufacturing, computer science, and health care; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, In addition to gaining specific career-related |

| 19 | 20 | | knowledge, participants in CTE programs learn such essential skills |

| 20 | 21 | | as time management, problem solving, and critical thinking, which |

| 21 | 22 | | better prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Career and technical education is offering a path to |
