| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Dennis L. Patillo of Victoria was elected chair of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1933, the Guadalupe-Blanco River |

| 9 | 10 | | Authority oversees water resources for 10 Texas counties; |

| 10 | 11 | | Mr. Patillo was first named to the organization's board in 2011, |

| 11 | 12 | | and he was reappointed by Governor Greg Abbott in 2016 to a term set |

| 12 | 13 | | to expire in 2021; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A successful business leader, Mr. Patillo is |

| 14 | 15 | | president of Stewart Title of the Coastal Bend and Evangelynn |

| 15 | 16 | | Hospitality and the owner of The PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant and |

| 16 | 17 | | Bar in Victoria; he has served on the Texas Tax Reform Commission, |

| 17 | 18 | | the University of Houston Commission on Downward Expansion, the |

| 18 | 19 | | Victoria County Airport Commission, and the DeTar Healthcare System |

| 19 | 20 | | board, and he previously led the Victoria Economic Development |

| 20 | 21 | | Corporation, the Houston Association of Realtors, and the Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Association of Realtors as chair; he is a graduate of the University |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Dennis Patillo's dedication and expertise have |
