| 10 | 11 | | semifinals and an appearance in the 2018 University Interscholastic |

| 11 | 12 | | League state tournament in only his second season at the helm of the |

| 12 | 13 | | Cypress Ranch baseball program; his team closed out the year with an |

| 13 | 14 | | impressive record of 32 wins, 9 losses, and 2 ties and reclaimed the |

| 14 | 15 | | school's status as a title contender after having previously won |

| 15 | 16 | | the crown in 2012 and 2015; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Early in his career, Coach Cephus honed his skills |

| 17 | 18 | | as a graduate assistant at Lamar University; he went on to enjoy a |

| 18 | 19 | | long tenure at Langham Creek High School, and his accomplishments |

| 19 | 20 | | were honored with the 2013 Texas High School Baseball Coaches |

| 20 | 21 | | Association Class 5A Assistant Coach of the Year award; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Through his leadership and expertise, Corey Cephus |

| 22 | 23 | | is playing a vital role in continuing the tradition of excellence |

| 23 | 24 | | that defines the Cypress Ranch High School baseball program, and he |
