| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Enrique Caballero and |

| 7 | 8 | | Maria Yolanda Canales Caballero celebrated this joyous milestone in |

| 8 | 9 | | their marriage on December 7, 2018; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Having met while they were both students in Robstown |

| 10 | 11 | | public schools, Enrique Caballero and the former Maria Yolanda |

| 11 | 12 | | Canales began dating after Mr. Caballero returned home from serving |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | in the Vietnam War; the couple were joined in matrimony in 1968 at |

| 13 | 14 | | Saint Anthony Catholic Church, and over the years, they have been |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | blessed with a treasured family that includes their daughter and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | two sons, as well as their seven grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Caballero |

| 17 | 18 | | worked as a truck driver for nearly three decades and served as a |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | firefighter for two years before retiring in 2008, and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Mrs. Caballero has dedicated herself to her home and family |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | throughout their marriage; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Caballero have enjoyed half a century |

| 22 | 23 | | of abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |

| 23 | 24 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 24 | 25 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
