| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Alfred Saenz, the chair and CEO of MULTATECH, is |

| 7 | 8 | | Awards Dinner on March 4, 2019; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born and raised in Fort Worth, Al Saenz has given |

| 9 | 10 | | back to his community through his leadership roles with numerous |

| 10 | 11 | | organizations, including the Multicultural Alliance Board of |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Directors, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the |

| 12 | 13 | | North Texas Community Foundation; moreover, he has contributed his |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | time and talents to the City of Fort Worth Stockyards/Northside Tax |

| 14 | 15 | | Increment Finance District, Mental Health America of Greater |

| 15 | 16 | | Tarrant County, and the March for Babies for Tarrant County; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A Vietnam veteran and alumnus of The University of |

| 17 | 18 | | Texas at Arlington, Mr. Saenz served as a partner at an engineering |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | design firm in Dallas and started his own firm in Fort Worth; he |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | subsequently joined MULTATECH in 1988 and became the president and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | CEO of the company in 1999; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Saenz has received numerous accolades over the |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | years, including awards from the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Commerce, Fort Worth Business Press, and KXTX Telemundo; and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Al Saenz has proven himself to be a business and |

| 25 | 26 | | civic leader of great vision and ability, and he is indeed deserving |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | of recognition for his invaluable contributions to the Dallas/Fort |

| 27 | 28 | | Worth Metroplex and beyond; now, therefore, be it |

| 28 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |

| 29 | 30 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Alfred Saenz on being honored at |
