| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Claudio Treviño III of Texas A&M University was |

| 6 | 7 | | named head drum major of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band in spring |

| 7 | 8 | | 2018, and his outstanding service in that position is truly worthy |

| 8 | 9 | | of recognition; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 1894, the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band is |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | composed of more than 300 members of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets; |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | during his tenure as head drum major, Mr. Treviño has demonstrated |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | exemplary leadership in his direction of the band, as it works under |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | the rigorous military guidelines of the corps; he has further |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | contributed to the band as a trombone player; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Treviño came to Texas A&M from United High |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | School in Laredo; he is currently majoring in forensic and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | investigative science, and following his graduation in May 2019, he |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | plans to work as an intelligence officer with the United States Air |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Force; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedication, hard work, and commitment to |

| 21 | 22 | | excellence, Claudio Treviño has earned the deep respect and |

| 22 | 23 | | appreciation of his fellow cadets, and he may indeed look forward to |

| 23 | 24 | | a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
