| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Samuel Santos Sr. of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Jose Santos Sr. and Tomasa Santos, Sam |

| 9 | 10 | | Santos was born on September 5, 1952, in Rossford, Ohio, and he grew |

| 10 | 11 | | up with the companionship of 10 siblings, Esequiel, Eli, Jose, |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Manuel, Benjamin, Francis, Irene, Raul, Tomas, and Ana; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Santos was blessed with the love and support of |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | his wife, Marcy, with whom he shared a rewarding marriage that |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | spanned 44 years, and he took great pride in his two sons, Sam and |

| 15 | 16 | | Chris; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Robstown, Mr. Santos enjoyed |

| 17 | 18 | | a 30-year career with the Nueces County Public Works Department, |

| 18 | 19 | | and he served as commissioner for Nueces County Drainage District |

| 19 | 20 | | No. 2 following his retirement; in addition to his professional |

| 20 | 21 | | duties, he was a devoted member and music worship leader of Templo |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | Jerusalem Assembly of God Church; he had a great passion for music |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | and often shared his talent for singing and playing instruments |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | with his beloved family; and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Possessed of a warm and generous nature and a keen |

| 25 | 26 | | sense of humor, Sam Santos brightened the world for all who knew |

| 26 | 27 | | him, and they will forever hold him close in their hearts; now, |
