| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Michael Williams is part of the Anglican Church in |

| 10 | 11 | | North America in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, which he |

| 11 | 12 | | serves as a member of the World Mission Committee; he has studied at |

| 12 | 13 | | the School for Deacons in Berkeley, California, as well as the |

| 13 | 14 | | Cranmer Theological House in Dallas; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Born on Mather Air Force Base in California, Deacon |

| 15 | 16 | | Williams is a retired United States Army sergeant who served a |

| 16 | 17 | | combined 13 years in the U.S. Army and National Guard, with |

| 17 | 18 | | assignments in Washington, Virginia, South Carolina, Texas, and |

| 18 | 19 | | Germany; moreover, he is currently the chaplain to American Legion |

| 19 | 20 | | Post No. 263 in Gainesville; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Deacon Williams has further contributed to his |

| 21 | 22 | | community through his involvement with a number of initiatives |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | benefiting youth, including scouting and sports programs; in all |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife, Angela, |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | and he is the proud father of five children; with the passing years, |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | he has also had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to include |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | three cherished grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Michael Williams has demonstrated a wholehearted |

| 28 | 29 | | commitment to his calling, and his ordination as a deacon provides a |

| 29 | 30 | | fitting opportunity to honor him for his exemplary service to his |

| 30 | 31 | | community of faith; now, therefore, be it |
