| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Joshua Zimmerer of the Callisburg Volunteer Fire |

| 7 | 8 | | Commissioners Court at a ceremony on January 28, 2019; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Assistant Chief Zimmerer joined the Callisburg VFD |

| 9 | 10 | | in April 2014, and he quickly moved up in the ranks from firefighter |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | to engineer; he went on to serve as training captain before being |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | elected to his current position; a veteran of the United States |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Marine Corps, he holds a degree from North Central Texas College; |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Joshua Zimmerer has demonstrated extraordinary |

| 15 | 16 | | dedication, skill, and bravery as he has worked to protect the lives |

| 16 | 17 | | and property of his fellow citizens, and he is truly deserving of |

| 17 | 18 | | special recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |
