| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Each year, the National Center for Urban School |

| 10 | 11 | | Transformation presents this award to schools that have met strict |

| 11 | 12 | | standards of eligibility, which include excellent student and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | teacher attendance rates and high achievement among English |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | learners and students with disabilities; moreover, honorees must |

| 14 | 15 | | demonstrate successful student outcomes, strong student engagement |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | in extracurricular activities, and a positive campus culture; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, One of 50 schools in Texas and 160 schools |

| 17 | 18 | | nationwide to earn this accolade, Westcliff Elementary serves more |
