| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Representative Raney first joined the Masons in |

| 8 | 9 | | 1969, and he has been an active member of a number of Masonic |

| 9 | 10 | | organizations in the Brazos Valley, including the Blue Lodge in |

| 10 | 11 | | Bryan and St. Alban's Lodge No. 1455 in College Station, as well as |

| 11 | 12 | | the Robert E. Lee Lodge No. 431 in Henderson; in addition, he |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | served as District Deputy Grand Master of District 29A in 2002; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A regular member of the Houston Scottish Rite, 33rd |

| 14 | 15 | | Degree, Representative Raney served as president of the Steve Cooke |

| 15 | 16 | | Scottish Rite Club in College Station; moreover, he is affiliated |
