45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Lily Trieu of Austin has ably served her fellow
67 Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Dan
78 Huberty during the 86th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Trieu has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks
1011 involving legislative support and constituent relations; in
1112 addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
1213 service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
1314 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1415 WHEREAS, Ms. Trieu is currently pursuing an MBA with a
1516 concentration in public and governmental affairs at The University
1617 of Texas at Austin, and she has distinguished herself as a Fellow of
1718 the Archer Center and as a finalist for the Broad Residency in Urban
1819 Education and the Presidential Management Fellowship; following
1920 her graduation, she hopes to become a business leader in the public
2021 education sector; and
2122 WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a
2223 legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
2324 deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
2425 be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commend Lily Trieu for her service as a
2728 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan
2829 Huberty and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
2930 in all her endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Ms. Trieu as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
