5	7		relating to reporting regarding veterans treatment court programs.
6	8		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
7	9		SECTION 1. Chapter 124, Government Code, is amended by
8	10		adding Section 124.007 to read as follows:
9	11		Sec. 124.007. REPORT. Not later than December 1 of each
10	12		year, the Texas Veterans Commission shall report the following
11	13		information for the preceding state fiscal year to the governor,
12	14		the lieutenant governor, the speaker of the house of
13	15		representatives, and each member of the legislature:
14	16		(1) the number of defendants who:
15	17		(A) participated in each veterans treatment
16	18		court program;
17	19		(B) successfully completed each program; and
18	20		(C) did not successfully complete each program;
19	21		and
20	22		(2) the amount of grant funding received by each
21	23		program.
22	24		SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
