| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 2003.047, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (d-1) A contested case hearing under this section shall be | |
| 13 | 13 | conducted in the house district in which the facility or proposed | |
| 14 | 14 | facility for which the permit or permit amendment under | |
| 15 | 15 | consideration in the contested case hearing is located. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act does not apply | |
| 17 | 17 | to a contested case hearing conducted by the State Office of | |
| 18 | 18 | Administrative Hearings under Section 2003.047, Government Code, | |
| 19 | 19 | as amended by this Act, for which the location of the hearing was | |
| 20 | 20 | determined before the effective date of this Act. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
