| 11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Subchapter E, Chapter 42, Education Code, is | |
| 13 | 13 | amended by adding Section 42.2533 to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 42.2533. ADJUSTMENT FOR CERTAIN SUPPLEMENTAL | |
| 15 | 15 | PAYMENTS. (a) The commissioner shall reduce the amounts due to a | |
| 16 | 16 | school district under this chapter or Chapter 46 by the amount of | |
| 17 | 17 | any supplemental payment received by the district during the | |
| 18 | 18 | preceding fiscal year under Section 313.027(i), Tax Code. | |
| 19 | 19 | (b) Not later than March 1 each year, the board of trustees | |
| 20 | 20 | of a school district shall disclose to the commissioner the amount | |
| 21 | 21 | of a supplemental payment subject to Subsection (a). | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
