| 12 | 12 | (b-3) An open-enrollment charter school is subject to the | |
| 13 | 13 | graduation qualification procedure established by the commissioner | |
| 14 | 14 | under Section 28.02541. This subsection expires September 1, 2021 | |

| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. Section 28.02541(g), Education Code, is amended | |
| 17 | 17 | to read as follows: | |
| 18 | 18 | (g) This section expires September 1, 2021 [2019]. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 20 | 20 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 21 | 21 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 23 | 23 | Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the | |
| 24 | 24 | legislative session. |
