| 18 | 17 | | appropriate money and a state agency may not use appropriated money |

| 19 | 18 | | to settle or otherwise pay a sexual harassment claim made against an |

| 20 | 19 | | elected member of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of |

| 21 | 20 | | state government or a person appointed by the governor to serve as a |

| 22 | 21 | | member of a department, commission, board, or other public office |
|---|
| 23 | 22 | | within the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of state |
|---|
| 24 | 23 | | government. |

| 25 | 24 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
