| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 12 | 12 | is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 225.152. WACO POLICE SERGEANT BOBBY VICHA MEMORIAL | |
| 14 | 14 | HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of U.S. Highway 84 in McLennan County | |
| 15 | 15 | between its intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 1330 and its | |
| 16 | 16 | intersection with North Vicha Road is designated as the Waco Police | |
| 17 | 17 | Sergeant Bobby Vicha Memorial Highway. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 19 | 19 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 20 | 20 | designation as the Waco Police Sergeant Bobby Vicha Memorial | |
| 21 | 21 | Highway and any other appropriate information; and | |
| 22 | 22 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 23 | 23 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
