| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 303.003(7), Local Government Code, is | |
| 10 | 10 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (7) "Public facility" means any real, personal, or | |
| 12 | 12 | mixed property, or an interest in property devoted or to be devoted | |
| 13 | 13 | to public use, and authorized to be financed, refinanced, or | |
| 14 | 14 | provided by sponsor obligations or bonds issued under this chapter. | |
| 15 | 15 | The term includes a grocery store located in an economically | |
| 16 | 16 | disadvantaged census tract as defined by Section 783.009(b), | |
| 17 | 17 | Government Code. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
