118 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
129 SECTION 1. Section 11.201, Education Code, is amended by
1310 adding Subsection (b-3) to read as follows:
1411 (b-3) A school district that maintains an Internet website
1512 shall post on the district's website the annual compensation
1613 received by the superintendent, including listing each amount paid
1714 by the district as:
1815 (1) an annual salary;
1916 (2) a bonus;
2017 (3) a benefit; or
2118 (4) an allowance or stipend for technology, housing,
2219 transportation, or another miscellaneous expense.
23- SECTION 2. Section 12.136, Education Code, is amended to
24- read as follows:
25- Sec. 12.136. POSTING OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER SALARY. An
26- open-enrollment charter school shall post on the school's Internet
27- website the annual compensation received by [salary of] the
28- school's superintendent or, as applicable, of the administrator
29- serving as educational leader and chief executive officer,
30- including listing each amount paid as:
31- (1) an annual salary;
32- (2) a bonus;
33- (3) a benefit; or
34- (4) an allowance or stipend for technology, housing,
35- transportation, or another miscellaneous expense.
36- SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
