| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 43, Election Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended by adding Section 43.008 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 43.008. CAMPUS POLLING PLACE. The commissioners court | |
| 13 | 13 | of a county shall designate as a polling place a location on the | |
| 14 | 14 | main campus of an institution of higher education as defined by | |
| 15 | 15 | Section 61.003, Education Code, located within the county if at | |
| 16 | 16 | least 10,000 students are enrolled in the institution. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
