| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 11 | 11 | is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 225.152. DELL ROSS CLAIBORNE MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) | |
| 13 | 13 | The portion of Farm-to-Market Road 181 in Gaines County between its | |
| 14 | 14 | intersection with Southwest 10th Street and its intersection with | |
| 15 | 15 | State Highway 385 is designated as the Dell Ross Claiborne Memorial | |
| 16 | 16 | Highway. | |
| 17 | 17 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 18 | 18 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 19 | 19 | designation as the Dell Ross Claiborne Memorial Highway and any | |
| 20 | 20 | other appropriate information; and | |
| 21 | 21 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 22 | 22 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 23 | 23 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
