| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Montgomery County Coalition of Chambers |

| 7 | 7 | | consists of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, the Conroe |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | and Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Magnolia Parkway |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Chamber of Commerce, the Greater East Montgomery County Chamber |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | of Commerce, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, and the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, These chambers represent the interests of |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | thousands of companies and entrepreneurs and have joined |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | together to promote economic growth in the county and to improve |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the quality of life for residents; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Delegates from the Montgomery County Coalition of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Chambers are convening in Austin on February 25 and 26 to visit |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the Texas Capitol, to see the Texas Legislature in action, and to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | hear from top government officials who are addressing issues that |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | affect the business community in Texas; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Members of the Montgomery County Coalition of |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Chambers are committed to ensuring long-term regional prosperity |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | through the promotion of sound business practices and policy, and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | they are deserving of special recognition for their service to |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | the community; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature, hereby welcome the members of the Montgomery County |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Coalition of Chambers and extend to all best wishes for a memorable |

| 29 | 29 | | Montgomery County Day at the Capitol; and, be it further |
