| 3 | 3 | | milestones, and Alexandra Quinn Gorman, a homeschool student in |

| 4 | 4 | | Brazoria County, is celebrating this joyful occasion on May 18, |

| 5 | 5 | | 2019; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Earning a high school diploma requires hard work |

| 7 | 7 | | and dedication, and Ms. Gorman may reflect with pride on the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | perseverance and individual initiative she has demonstrated in |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | pursuit of her goals; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Gorman has excelled academically, earning a |

| 11 | 11 | | 4.0 grade point average, and she has benefited her community |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | through her volunteer work with "A Chance to Dance" and CHI |

| 13 | 13 | | St. Luke's; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |

| 15 | 15 | | outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family |

| 16 | 16 | | and friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
