5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |

6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Donald Alan Waller Jr., who died |
---|
7 | 7 | | October 7, 2018, at the age of 36; and |
---|
8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Donald Waller was an exemplary citizen whose love for |
---|
9 | 9 | | his family and devotion to his countless friends served as an |
---|
10 | 10 | | inspiration to all those who were privileged to share in his life; and |
---|
11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, He was born in Austin on January 15, 1982, to Donald |
---|
12 | 12 | | Waller Sr. and Pamela Wright; he was a graduate of Anderson High |
---|
13 | 13 | | School, where he was a decorated member of the basketball team, and |
---|
14 | 14 | | he continued his education at Prairie View A&M University; and |
---|
15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Waller was a valued employee of the Spectrum |
---|
16 | 16 | | division of Charter Communications, where he was noted for his |
---|
17 | 17 | | exemplary work ethic; he was also a local music artist who |
---|
18 | 18 | | performed in Austin venues, and he was the chief executive officer |
---|
19 | 19 | | of the local rap music label Trakrunnaz Entertainment; and |
---|
20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Donald Waller was known for his passion for cooking |
---|
21 | 21 | | and for his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; and |
---|
22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, He was a devout Christian who practiced his faith |
---|
23 | 23 | | in his daily life, and he enjoyed the love and support of a |
---|
24 | 24 | | wonderful family; he was a blessing to his parents, and his |
---|
25 | 25 | | beloved daughter, Mackenzie Blair Waller, was a source of much |
---|
26 | 26 | | pride and joy for him; and |
---|
27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and generosity, he |
---|
28 | 28 | | gave unselfishly to others, and he leaves behind memories that |
---|
29 | 29 | | will be cherished forever by those who were privileged to share |
---|
30 | 30 | | in his life; now, therefore, be it |
---|
31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
---|
32 | 32 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
---|
33 | 33 | | family and friends of Donald Alan Waller Jr.; and, be it further |
---|
34 | 34 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |

35 | 35 | | his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
