44 Donald Alan Waller Jr.
55 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
66 commemorates the life of Donald Alan Waller Jr., who died
77 October 7, 2018, at the age of 36; and
88 WHEREAS, Donald Waller was an exemplary citizen whose love for
99 his family and devotion to his countless friends served as an
1010 inspiration to all those who were privileged to share in his life; and
1111 WHEREAS, He was born in Austin on January 15, 1982, to Donald
1212 Waller Sr. and Pamela Wright; he was a graduate of Anderson High
1313 School, where he was a decorated member of the basketball team, and
1414 he continued his education at Prairie View A&M University; and
1515 WHEREAS, Mr. Waller was a valued employee of the Spectrum
1616 division of Charter Communications, where he was noted for his
1717 exemplary work ethic; he was also a local music artist who
1818 performed in Austin venues, and he was the chief executive officer
1919 of the local rap music label Trakrunnaz Entertainment; and
2020 WHEREAS, Donald Waller was known for his passion for cooking
2121 and for his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; and
2222 WHEREAS, He was a devout Christian who practiced his faith
2323 in his daily life, and he enjoyed the love and support of a
2424 wonderful family; he was a blessing to his parents, and his
2525 beloved daughter, Mackenzie Blair Waller, was a source of much
2626 pride and joy for him; and
2727 WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and generosity, he
2828 gave unselfishly to others, and he leaves behind memories that
2929 will be cherished forever by those who were privileged to share
3030 in his life; now, therefore, be it
3131 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
3232 Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
3333 family and friends of Donald Alan Waller Jr.; and, be it further
3434 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
3535 his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
3636 Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
3737 memory of Donald Alan Waller Jr.
