5	5	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
6	6	commemorates the life of Ryan Keith Wallace, who died
7	7	December 5, 2018, at the age of 27; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Ryan Wallace was born on October 24, 1991, in
9	9	Lubbock, to Ronnie and Connie Wallace; he grew up in Seminole
10	10	with his brother, Kevin, and graduated from Seminole High School;
11	11	he and his beloved wife, Kyrie Cameron Wallace, were married on
12	12	August 18, 2018; and
13	13	WHEREAS, Ryan earned a degree from The University of Texas
14	14	at Austin, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the
15	15	Silver Spurs; passionate about politics, he was active in student
16	16	government and served as director of the State Relations agency;
17	17	he also worked in the office of State Senator Charles Perry
18	18	during his time in Austin; and
19	19	WHEREAS, Mr. Wallace was a summa cum laude graduate of the
20	20	South Texas College of Law, where he received various accolades
21	21	for his work; he was inducted into the National Order of Scribes
22	22	and the Order of Barristers, and he earned numerous honors for
23	23	Best Brief at college and bar association competitions across the
24	24	country; and
25	25	WHEREAS, Upon his graduation, he accepted a position as an
26	26	associate with the firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth in the Capital
27	27	Markets Section, and he practiced law in the areas of capital
28	28	markets and securities, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and
29	29	corporate governance and compliance; and
30	30	WHEREAS, He was a young man of courage, strength, and
31	31	generosity who gave unselfishly to others, and his valued counsel
32	32	and his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will not be
33	33	forgotten; and
34	34	WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and
35	35	grandson, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
36	36	forever by his family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
37	37	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
38	38	Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
39	39	family of Ryan Keith Wallace; and, be it further
40	40	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
41	41	his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
42	42	Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
43	43	memory of Ryan Wallace.
