| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 3 | 3 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Myrta and Ennis |

| 4 | 4 | | Trimble of Tyler celebrated this joyous milestone in their |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | marriage on February 14, 2019; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Trimble were joined in matrimony on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Valentine's Day in 1959 at a ceremony held in Bossier City, |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Louisiana, where the bride attended high school and the groom was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A decorated veteran of the United States Air |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Force, Ennis Trimble studied at Kilgore College, Weatherford |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | College, and the United States Armed Forces Institute, and he |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | went on to retire from a civilian career that included operating |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | his own graphic arts engineering business; Myrta Trimble was |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | employed in the medical field for over 30 years; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Both husband and wife are life members of the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Disabled American Veterans and AMVETS, and they have received a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | number of awards from those organizations for their dedicated |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | efforts in behalf of veterans and their families; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Residents of Tyler for more than five decades, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Mr. and Mrs. Trimble have been blessed with a treasured family that |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | includes their children, Van, John, Maeschelle, and Merilonda, as |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | well as nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; the couple |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | credit their marriage's longevity to their strong Christian faith, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | as well as to Mrs. Trimble's insistence on making at least one good |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | memory each day, despite whatever challenges life may bring; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Myrta and Ennis Trimble have enjoyed six decades |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | an exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Myrta and Ennis Trimble on |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |

| 35 | 35 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |

| 36 | 36 | | prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Trimble as an expression of high regard |
