| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Kimberly Longino, who is retiring from the Texas Health |

| 4 | 4 | | and Human Services Commission on April 1, 2019, after 29 years of |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | loyal service with the state; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Kimberly Longino began her career in civil |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | service on November 1, 1989, as an eligibility specialist; she |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | received numerous promotions over the years, and she worked for a |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | time as a local office supervisor overseeing the staff |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | responsible for granting food, cash, and medical assistance to |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | eligible Texans; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Most recently, Kimberly served as a curriculum |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | development area manager; in this role, she supervised the team |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | of employees responsible for developing and maintaining the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | curricula for newly hired eligibility staff; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her long career in health and human |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | services, Kimberly has handled her wide-ranging responsibilities |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | with the utmost care and professionalism; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, A distinguished employee, Kimberly Longino is |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | respected and admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Texas Health and Human Services Commission will be greatly |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | missed; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby commend Kimberly Longino on her exemplary |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | career and her many contributions to the state and extend to her |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
