4	4	Quresha Zamir
5	5	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
6	6	commemorates the life of Quresha Zamir, who died November 10,
7	7	2018, at the age of 79; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Quresha Zamir was an exemplary citizen who was
9	9	respected and admired in her Houston community for her many
10	10	achievements; and
11	11	WHEREAS, She and her beloved husband, the late Zamir Ahmed
12	12	Jilani, were blessed with six children, Dr. Asim Zamir, Atif
13	13	Zamir, Rubina Quidwai, Samina Asad, Rahila Tayyabi, and Anila
14	14	Zamir; her 11 grandchildren were a source of much pride and joy
15	15	for her; and
16	16	WHEREAS, A woman of courage, strength, and generosity, she
17	17	gave unselfishly to others, and her wisdom, warmth, and valued
18	18	counsel will not be forgotten by those who were privileged to
19	19	share in her life; and
20	20	WHEREAS, She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, mother,
21	21	and grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be
22	22	treasured forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore,
23	23	be it
24	24	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
25	25	Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
26	26	family of Quresha Zamir; and, be it further
27	27	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
28	28	her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
29	29	Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
30	30	memory of Quresha Zamir.
